Here is an easy Ikea Mammut table hack. This project is so easy I debated on whether or not it was worthy of its own blog post. Nevertheless, I hope this, if anything sparks a little bit of creative juice in you. And lets you know that something as little as a can of spray paint will go a long way.

    • Children's table makeover

We used our Ikea Mammut Table in the basement of our old house. It allowed the girls a place to sit and colour while I did the laundry. Once we moved, we put the table outside, needless to say, it got a little stained.

We have been working on renovating our front porch this past week, and finally got a floor put in. We were all very excited to use the porch so I pulled out our Ikea Mammut Table for the girls. The girls ate lunch on it twice before I thought it was finally time to spruce it up.

All I did was give it a quick wipe down, and two coats of spray paint. It was that simple.

I took the table and chairs out onto the grass, in some shade, and went to work. The whole project was done in less than two hours. The wind came in handy for a quick dry time, I was able to do a second after just 30 minutes.

Two cans of spray paint later and we have a whole new table, it was that simple! I used black spray paint and within a few hours, we have a whole new table. This table is now worthy of living on the front porch.

I love being able to get a second life out of something especially when it's as simple, and cheap as a can of spray paint!

That turned out so cute! I have a different kids table that needs some help and might need to tackle that this summer.
