Homemade gluten-free granola wasn't always something we had on hand. In fact, it was a luxury, and it came in a box, and it didn't taste that great at all.
To be honest we would splurge for a box of gluten-free granola, eat it once and then it would sit in the back of the cupboard only to be later, toss in the trash. It was not very good, and if you are used to eating gluten-free food, it had that distinct after taste.

This is not the case for our homemade granola. I started off making this recipe with only two cups of oats, and I am now up to 4 cups, and two pans to bake it. If this granola lasts a week we are lucky. We eat it for breakfast and snack on it throughout the day.
I'd make more but I'm afriad we wouldn't eat anything else!
GLUTEN-FREE GRANOLA RECIPE
Preheat your oven to 350 F.
Gather all ingredients; gluten-free rolled oats, whole almonds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, gara masala, cinnamon, salt, maple syrup, honey.

Chop whole almonds into chunks, this is optional, we used to leave them whole, but with little mouths to feed we now chop them up a bit.

Add all dry ingredients into a bowl and mix, then add maple syrup and honey.

Grease baking sheet with olive oil.

Spread granola evenly over greased baking sheets and bake in the oven for 20 minutes, taking out to mix halfway through.

Once baked I leave to cool on the baking sheet, this allows the granola to cluster a bit. Once cooled we store in a glass jar in the cupboard.
And that's it! Homemade granoal in less than 30 minutes. We now keep all ingredients on hand so we can wipped up whenever the cravings strike!
